Tester/QA

Now we are looking for a technical person as a tester / QA for our development department at Awardit in Gothenburg. Awardit can proudly claim to be the Nordic region's largest operator of customer clubs, loyalty programs, sales motivation programs, digital point currencies and points shopping. We work with customers such as SAS, Handelsbanken, Ahlsell & E.ON.

Short about the position

As a QA Tester at Awardit IT CLS you will, assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You as a QA tester will also be responsible for finding and reporting bugs. You will also be part of the development team, working close with the developers in an agile environment where you as part of team assures the quality of the new features developed. As a Quality assurance tester, you will work close with the IT development project and help setting up the requirements for these projects with the product owners and Key account managers.

About you

This role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, also got a curious nature this is the job for you.

In this role you will be working closely with the developers aiding their work and assure quility. It is important that you possess good technical knowledge and few years’ experiences working with automation.

Required qualification

  • At least 2+ years experience in test automation
  • Practical knowledge of Java, REACT, Git, PHP
  • Experience with AWS, and Docker, PHP Unit
  • Coding experience with automation framework, tools, and services for web.
  • Understanding of QA methodologies, life cycle, and processes in an agile environment.

Areas of responsibility

  • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyse results
  • Create and analyse system specifications
  • Collaborate with QA Test lead to develop effective strategies and test plans
  • Evaluate product code according to specifications
  • Create logs to document testing phases and defects
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams
  • Help troubleshoot issues
  • Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
